February 15, 2008. Solar Labs installed two Skyheaters atop the World Clutch building in Knoxville for real-world testing. Panel 1 has a reflector attached to augment solar radiation while panel 2, without reflector, will benefit from reflections off the Galvalum roof. Inside the building, a digital weather station logs six temperature points with .2˚ accuracy, and a a silicon pyranometer logs solar radiation. Collected data will help refine predictions for Skyheater performance.
